# roark simulation tool-fixture update

> Update a tool fixture

Change the response, description, or enabled state of an existing fixture.

```bash Synopsis theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark simulation tool-fixture update <fixture-id> [options]
```

> Calls `PUT /v1/simulation/tool-fixture/{fixtureId}`

## Arguments

**fixture-id** `string` *required*

The fixture-id.

## Options

**--response** `string`

**--description** `string`

**--enabled** `switch`

## Example

```bash theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark simulation tool-fixture update <fixture-id>
```
