# roark metric variant get

> Get a metric variant

One configuration of this metric, by id.

```bash Synopsis theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark metric variant get <id-or-slug> <variant-id> [options]
```

> Calls `GET /v1/metric/definitions/{idOrSlug}/variants/{variantId}`

## Arguments

**id-or-slug** `string` *required*

Metric definition UUID or its stable slug.

**variant-id** `string` *required*

Variant UUID.

## Example

```bash theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark metric variant get <id-or-slug> <variant-id>
```
