# roark metric policy delete

> Delete a metric policy

Soft-deletes a metric policy. System policies cannot be deleted.

```bash Synopsis theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark metric policy delete <policy-id> [options]
```

> Calls `DELETE /v1/metric/policies/{policyId}`

## Arguments

**policy-id** `string` *required*

The ID of the metric policy to delete.

## Example

```bash theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark metric policy delete <policy-id>
```
