# roark http-request-definition get

> Get HTTP request definition by ID

Returns a specific HTTP request definition by its ID.

```bash Synopsis theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark http-request-definition get <definition-id> [options]
```

> Calls `GET /v1/http-request-definition/{definitionId}`

## Arguments

**definition-id** `string` *required*

The ID of the HTTP request definition to retrieve.

## Example

```bash theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark http-request-definition get <definition-id>
```
