# roark customer notes update

> Update the notes on a customer

Replaces your team's shared notes. Null or empty clears them. The last save wins.

```bash Synopsis theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark customer notes update <customer-profile-id> [options]
```

> Calls `PUT /v1/customer/{customerProfileId}/notes`

## Arguments

**customer-profile-id** `string` *required*

The customer-profile-id.

## Options

**--notes** `string` *required*

Replaces the existing notes. Null or empty clears them.

## Example

```bash theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark customer notes update <customer-profile-id> --notes <value>
```
