# roark customer field delete

> Delete a customer field

Deletes a field of your project's own. Its values stop showing on customers. A built-in field cannot be deleted; turn it off instead.

```bash Synopsis theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark customer field delete <key> [options]
```

## Arguments

**key** `string` *required*

The key.

## Example

```bash theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark customer field delete <key>
```
