# roark customer delete

> Erase a customer

Permanently removes the customer, with their fields, evidence and notes. Conversations are kept. A new conversation from the same identifier starts a new customer.

```bash Synopsis theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark customer delete <customer-profile-id> [options]
```

> Calls `DELETE /v1/customer/{customerProfileId}`

## Arguments

**customer-profile-id** `string` *required*

The customer-profile-id.

## Example

```bash theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark customer delete <customer-profile-id>
```
