# roark customer attribute delete

> Clear a field on a customer

Removes the value and any lock, so a later conversation can fill it again.

```bash Synopsis theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark customer attribute delete <customer-profile-id> <key> [options]
```

> Calls `DELETE /v1/customer/{customerProfileId}/attributes/{key}`

## Arguments

**customer-profile-id** `string` *required*

The customer-profile-id.

**key** `string` *required*

The key.

## Example

```bash theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark customer attribute delete <customer-profile-id> <key>
```
