# roark agent endpoint update

> Update an agent endpoint

Updates an existing agent endpoint by its ID. Only environment and outboundDialType can be modified.

```bash Synopsis theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark agent endpoint update <endpoint-id> [options]
```

> Calls `PUT /v1/agent/endpoint/{endpointId}`

## Arguments

**endpoint-id** `string` *required*

The ID of the agent endpoint to update.

## Options

**--environment** `string`

Environment name.

**--outbound-dial-type** `string`

Outbound dial type: NONE or `HTTP_REQUEST`. One of `NONE`, `HTTP_REQUEST`

**--outbound-dial-http-request-definition-id** `string`

ID of the HTTP request definition for outbound dialing.

## Example

```bash theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark agent endpoint update <endpoint-id>
```
