# roark agent-config promote

> Promote staging to production

Point the production channel at the staging revision. Real traffic reads it from the next session onward; roll back by writing the prior revision id to production (the chain preserves every state).

```bash Synopsis theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark agent-config promote <key> [options]
```

## Arguments

**key** `string` *required*

The key.

## Example

```bash theme={"theme":{"light":"everforest-light","dark":"everforest-dark"}}
roark agent-config promote <key>
```
